Doctrinal Statement
The Word of God
The Bible is divinely inspired, inerrant and infallible. God delivered his Word to Israel and to the church as a complete, perfect and final revelation. The scriptures are the only rule for faith and practice in the church of Jesus Christ.
The Trinity
God is a spirit who is eternal, unchanging, all-powerful, all-knowing and all-present. He exists in three co-equal but separate persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
God the Son was born of a Virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on Calvary, rose bodily from the grave and ascended to Heaven. Jesus will Return bodily to the earth at His Second Coming.
Salvation
Salvation is the free gift of God's grace and is not based on merit or works. If one genuinely repents toward God and believes on Jesus Christ he shall be saved.
Church
The Church is the invisible and universal body of Christ composed of all true believers from Pentecost to the Rapture. The Church has two ordinances, water baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Man
Man was originally created perfect by God but fell very far from his original righteousness. Man is now a depraved sinner and hopelessly lost apart from the righteousness of Christ. He cannot save himself from sin and needs the salvation of God.
